Marylebone Serviced offices

Marylebone is an affluent, inner-city area of central London, located within the City of Westminster and bounded by Oxford Street to the south, Marylebone Road to the north, Edgware Road to the west and Great Portland Street to the east. Marylebone has very multi-cultural feel and it is renowned for having a large Arab community, although there remains a large mix making the region cosmopolitan and up and coming.

Marylebone background and history

These days the area is mostly residential, with a great many medical and dental practices, traditionally concentrated in Harley Street. Since the opening of the Jubilee Line at Baker Street station with its direct links to Canary Wharf, Marylebone — particularly Marylebone Village — has become an even more sought-after area of Central London.

Some of the many famous people who have lived in Marylebone include Charles Dickens, Ringo Starr, Barbara Windsor and the recently deceased (Oct 2010) Norman Wisdom.

If you really feel like pushing the boat out and spoiling yourself, or someone special, by getting the very best out of life then you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a restaurant in which to dine as the list of speciality eateries is breathtakingly huge with Asian, Chinese, Greek, Hungarian, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican and Thai being part of the whole mix in addition to any British restaurants you may find there.

When it comes down to business then there is a plethora of high quality serviced offices for rent throughout the area, offering well appointed office suites from 100 sq ft in what can only be termed as a highly desirable and sought after sector of our Capital City.
